Singing to the Sharks Exhibition

Singing to the Sharks at the Whyalla Maritime Museum in South Australia is the latest permanent exhibition chronicling the indigenous people of Whyalla and their remarkable connection with the sea . There are brilliant interpretive displays. Visitors can read the amazing story of the seven sisters and even learn some Barngarla language.

Highlights include a complete geological history of the Whyalla region, the creation of the Spencer Gulf dreaming story plus the latest science behind the Singing to the Sharks’ myth.

Paul Mazourek, the museum manager, says, “Whether it’s the kangaroo skins, the statues or the shark jaws that grab you, the Singing to the Sharks exhibition will be a learning experience you’ll never ever forget! Hope to see you there.”
